The newly opened Breast Health and Research Center adjacent to the John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital in Phoenix will house a tumor biorepository for the Translational Genomics Research Institute that is expected to help in uncovering new ways to detect and treat breast cancer. "Our new state-of-the-art medical equipment allows the earliest possible detection of breast cancers when survival rates are highest and treatment is less invasive," said Sherry Gage, clinical director of the new center.
